Actually, it seriously began in September 2018 when after dress shopping with my oldest daughter for her August 2019 wedding, I realized how I had wished wedding gown shopping was more personalized and unique, rather than a sales transaction. Up until that moment, it was always a fun hobby for me and my late mother to dream of the day when we would open a mother and daughter bridal store but that was always an "if only" we were rich and could do anything we wanted kind of musing. But, months later, when it was time to shop for my Mother of the Bride gown, I had decided, with my love for all things wedding there must be a better way to celebrate love and brides! And then it hit me, I was opening a bridal store! I wanted to take the shopping experience up a few notches and make it feel special and unique. Well, fast forward I was relieved that I had decided to wait in December (before I even heard of COVID) that my location fell through and I decided to wait, then COVID decided for me that I should wait even longer. But I never stopped believing, dreaming, wishing for the day that I could reignite my passion. I can't wait to take you all on the journey with me from demolition to open day. It's going to be hard, tears will be shed, and hopefully all fingers remain in tact but it will be worth it in the end. Stay tuned as we build a bridge from one person's dream to a reality.
